Do you ever notice that some people look the same everyday as if they are in an unsaid
uniform? I\u2019m not talking about the one you must wear to work if you\u2019re a police officer or a nurse<\/a>, their, but more the one you wear at your job with no or minimum regulations. In fashion we call this \u201cthe uniform\u201d. For most fashionistas it\u2019s just easiest to wear all black. That way you only focus on what you are designing, as opposed to putting energy or thoughts on what you\u2019re wearing. This works well for both business casual (which almost no one in fashion has anymore) and casual. You can be a platinum black uniform wearer in that you have 100 of the same black tee and tech
pants that you wear everyday OR you can mix it up with different varieties, fabrics, prints, weights, woven you name it, but one thing remains steady: ALL BLACK.
For the J CREW<\/a> type who prefers upscale casual, you will time and time again see the jeans and white top look. Again, we can explore the more business to casual options but still a uni. The more professional version opts for a crisp white button down (maybe the collar is popped) with lots of jewelry, a trend worthy pair of denim, and heels. All these elements change with pendulum of fashion so for the \u201cof the moment\u201d piece maybe opt for a unique silver necklace with wider leg denim and kitten heels<\/a> could replace the delicate and layered gold necklace with straight leg jeans of a few years ago. For the ultra-causal girlie, the white tee shirt does not change too much. Maybe from a v neck to a boxy crop, she\u2019s always fresh white with a \u201cnatural\u201d face to compliment her minimal look. Some people wear their uniforms not to work, but on the streets everyday particularly in TriBeCa. Right now, this street look is a longer trench, usually tan, with whatever combo of above you choose and a ball cap. New Yorkers that can\u2019t even name a Yankee player have the iconic NY<\/a> blasted all over their heads for the sake of fashion. It says put together in a way that feels so different from the pumpkin spice latte wide brim hats that took over the latter half of the second decade. What I love about this trench and ballcap fit is that almost everyone looks
famous like they could be Jennifer Lawrence. Add a pair of sambas<\/a> or adi gazelle\u2019s and you pass the test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
